Founding Access

Terms of Use

Last updated August 19, 2026

These terms apply to the Ear Copilot website and any pre-release software made available through Founding Access. By using them, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Early-access software

Ear Copilot is in active development. Features may be incomplete, change without notice, or behave differently across devices, languages, microphones, and audio routes. Founding Access may be limited, paused, or ended while we validate safety and reliability.

Your responsibility

You control when Ear Copilot starts and how its suggestions are used. You remain responsible for your words, decisions, legal obligations, and the accuracy of anything you repeat. Do not rely on Ear Copilot as a substitute for professional legal, medical, financial, emergency, or safety advice.

Participant awareness and lawful use

Ear Copilot is private to the wearer but must never be covert toward other participants. Tell people when AI is assisting or processing a conversation, obtain any consent required by law or policy, and do not use the product for hidden recording, surveillance, impersonation, deception, academic dishonesty, or any unlawful purpose.

Accuracy

AI systems and speech recognition can misunderstand, omit context, or produce incorrect information. Deterministic answers can also be wrong if the spoken inputs are wrong. Verify material facts before relying on them. Silence may be intentional when Ear Copilot cannot produce a sufficiently supported or well-timed cue.

Imported content

Only upload, paste, or process content you own or have permission to use. You retain your rights in your material. You grant Ear Copilot the limited permission necessary to process that material for the feature you requested.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to bypass product safeguards, audio-route checks, permissions, security controls, rate limits, or access restrictions. Do not interfere with the service, reverse engineer protected components except where law permits, or use the product to harm others.

Ownership

Ear Copilot, its software, visual identity, and original content are owned by their respective rights holders and protected by applicable law. Apple, AirPods, Apple Watch, iPhone, TestFlight, and related marks belong to Apple Inc. Ear Copilot is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Apple.

Availability and warranties

The website and beta are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, perfect accuracy, compatibility with every device, or that every cue will be delivered.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product develops. The updated date will change when a revised version is posted. Material changes may also be communicated to active testers.
